When you pay in our online shop using the Paytrail payment service, you can pay using bank online payments, debit and credit cards, instalment services. The bank statement and credit card invoice will show Paytrail Oyj as the payee for payments made through our service. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution licence issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority, which requires us to make strong investments in security. 

 

Payment confirmation message

Paytrail sends a payment confirmation email after payment, in cases where the online shop provides us with the customer's email address. The payment ID in the payment confirmation message is unique for each payment and allows the online merchant or Paytrail customer service to easily find your payment details if necessary.

Payment security

Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution licence issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority, which requires us to make strong investments in security. We are working together with banks and other financial institutions to build safer and more efficient practices for online transactions.

Card payment methods Card payments made through Paytrail go through Nets. All traditional card payments are verified using the card companies' verification methods (e.g. Mastercard SecureCode, Verified by Visa), if the card is included in the verification programme. Bill and instalment payment methods Paytrail's payment service includes Jousto bill and instalment payment methods. When paying with these payment methods, consumers are always required to provide strong authentication to ensure the security of their purchase. Paytrail is one of the first operators to be awarded the Safe Pay certificate, which is a guarantee of secure payment by bill. The Safe Pay certificate is awarded on condition that Paytrail ensures the security of data processing and systems and processes when the consumer pays by invoice/co-payment through the Paytrail service. Jousto lasku - invoice and instalment payment is a domestic service that allows you to make your purchases quickly and securely. Jousto is for individuals who have managed their finances properly. With Jousto, you have 30 days interest-free payment time. A €2.90 surcharge will be added to your purchase. Once you receive your bill, you can decide whether to pay it in full or in instalments. With instalments, you can pay for your purchases in up to 36 instalments, starting from €9.90/month. Jousto instalments cost €3.90/month and carry a 19.90% credit interest rate. You can use Flexusto to pay for purchases between €30 and €3000. Buying with Jousto is safe and secure. When you make your first purchase, you will be authenticated electronically. As a returning customer, you can easily authenticate with a one-time code sent to your phone. With every purchase, we make a real-time, automated credit decision. The payment transaction and data transmission always takes place in a secure connection. The invoice is sent by email. The credit issuer is Aurajoki Nordic Ltd.
